So whilst looking through some old training routines, client forms, and results, I discovered the “magic formula” for health and fitness! Yes, its true, THE guaranteed way to get in the best shape of your life was staring back at me from my laptop screen. So as you can imagine i needed to share this fantastic nugget of information. So, prepare yourselves, this is major info right here…..

But joking aside, it really is that simple. Everyone today is looking for the next “big thing” or “magic pill” that promises to get you in the best shape of your life, with little or no effort. Just look at the infomercials we’re bombarded with on a daily basis. With lean toned women, and men that wouldn’t look out of place on a bodybuilding stage, professing the benefits of the “ab crunch supertone 4000” or whatever other piece of crap they’re being paid to advertise. Usually stating that you too can look just like them by doing only “5 minutes every other Thursday on this groundbreaking machine…” Blah Blah Blah
The hard truth is that the only way to improve is through consistent hard work and lifestyle choices. Over the years I’ve trained countless people, with different goals, aims, and challenges. Yet the one thing that remains the same is this:-
THOSE THAT PUT IN THE WORK, GOT THE RESULTS.

Yes sometimes its hard. Yes sometimes you feel like quitting. Nobody said it was going to be easy. But consistency is the key. Turn up, put the work in, and trust the process. It’s up to me to sort the training out, keep you accountable for your actions, educate you on the right methods, and help you change your mindset towards training. But it’s up to you to do it.
Most people think when they start training that they are “the most unfit person ever…” But you know what. Whether you are or not it doesn’t matter. You made a choice to do something about it. That’s what matters!
We all have a choice. Do it, or don’t. Its that simple.
EFFORT = RESULTS
But we are all capable of much more than we realise.
Now the truth can sometimes hurt. A former client once complained that they were not seeing the results they expected after just 3 weeks. However, what they forgot was the fact that they would only train for 1 session a week. Do nothing outside of the booked session, and would not change their lifestyle. At all. If its taken you 10 years to get “out of shape” do you really think you’ll rectify this with the same lifestyle and 1 training session each week. A resistance to change is one thing, but a refusal to change is another. Needless to say, there training was ended by mutual consent (this is a true story).
